The Endetec Solution

Traditional methods for testing water samples for bacteria such as E.coli and total coliform requires access to a laboratory facility to perform the test, resulting in delays of 48 hours or more until test results are received. The Endetec solution is a self-contained, automated testing system that enables laboratory-grade microbiological testing to be performed on-site, at the location where the samples are obtained.

• Consumable Test Cartridge (CTC): a single-use test cartridge that is pre-filled with the required reagents and growth media required to perform tests for both E.coli and total coliform bacteria. Simply sample directly into the cartridge, and the test is ready to run.

• Desktop Testing Unit (DTU): a self-contained test instrument that accepts the consumable test cartridge and automatically performs the complete microbiological test, including sample incubation and detection of bacteria with laboratory-grade performance.

• PC Software: easy-to-use, PC-based software continuously monitors and interprets the test throughout the incubation process, with automatic alerts sent to email, pagers, and cell phones within seconds of detection of bacteria at the earliest possible time.
